eBags was launched on 1st of March, 1999 with seven varieties including Jan Sport, Skyway Luggage and Samsonite. While the growth rate of eBags was forty two percent from mid of 1999 through mid of 2005, three dealings caused the company cast to dunk below 700,000 US Dollars. Those deals are: -

The Company was founded by five peoples in spring of 1998. Four of them employed for Samsonite before starting eBags. They are Peter Cobb, Jon Nordmark, Andy Youngs and Frank Steed. They have worked over 50 years for Samsonite that was headquartered in Denver during 1910 to 1997. Eliot Cobb employed as vice president of finance at Music Warehouse.
